I'm heading home today to see my family!!!
i went to Ikea with the bf last night and bought a new futon for my friend Ena to sleep on when she visits in three weeks.
also bought a new bookshelf and a new dresser
i finally managed to clean up the computer room

Let's see ....... I got a new job, I started a diet and I won an item I was bidding on celebrity auction on ebay sponsored by Aveda . I saw the (they must be the mother company) box on the counter and started to cheer!

Alright. Here's some good news then...
The heat today was more bearable than I expected (that thunderstorm really helped) and I managed to do the reading I had planned to do.

It's another hot and sunny day here, but it's nice and cool here in the computer room, and the girls are curled up asleep on a cool sheet i've put down for them

Well let me think...........I'm sure SOMETHING good happened yesterday! Oh, well, I started to eat better after coming from the doctors last week and yesterday we went out for dinner and I had a chicken breast and salad!
OH MY GOODNESS was it hard passing up fried onion rings, but I did!
I got to lay out today and be with my family for the past 2 days
It was a whopping 100* the past 2 days (yikes) but being in the lake helped cool off!

My good news: I had an awesome time with my neice, the girls were very well behaved. I got to relax by the pool yesterday. And LuckyGirl is IN LOVE with the Cat Dancer I got her!
LOL, the only good news we have in the last two days is Jerry was able to give his grandmothers eulogy without crying.............

I just walked into the apartment to find the boys glued to the balcony screendoor. So I creep over and YAY! there's finally a bird at the feeder I hung out weeks ago.
I've been waiting and watching, and thought that maybe it was too close to the door and the birds were scared off by the activity the could see inside. It was a pretty little finch with a red face.
It made me smile just to see the cats in that transfixed pose.
I got my cosmo in the mail yesterday and there was a coupon for a free pair of panties from Victoria's Secret! They must be trying to drum up sales. I have been seeing lots of coupons for panties frm them lately!
