Let's see:

*I got two more bags of mulch laid in the garden.
*I went out to lunch with my neighbor & had my favorite: BLT. We also shared a huge laugh when we were driving home down the alley & spied, through some trees a clothesline with the most ginormous set of tighty-whities hanging from it...we took a phone pic!
You can't manufacture humor like that!
*JinJin's been cracking me up all day...she's been playing with this one blue fuzzy mouse since last night, and will not let it out of her sight...she even took it to bed with her.
*This one's good for everyday: I'm getting the prettiest furbaby in the whole world, and she's coming home in just a few weeks!

I have:

fodder, flax, fire and Frigg (something to eat, something to wear, somewhere to keep warm and someone to love).

I personally think that could be amended to (perhaps should be in my case):

fodder, flax, fire, Frigg and Freya (something to eat, something to wear, somewhere to keep warm, someone to love, and cats).

Excellent idea. I have been doing the same too...looking for presents at 75% off semi-annual clearance sections. People I know always think I spend $$$ on gifts, but I spend very little.

I have a couple more things to add:

1. DH and I went out to dinner (something small and inexpensive) and we saw a movie I've been dying to see, Superman Returns, and it was awesome! That is all.

That is a good choice. That is actually the higest rated movie this summer.

We went to Pirates of the Caribbean. The movie was way too long and in the middle of the movie two gangs broke out in a fight. We left and got our money back but we were unable to finish the movie.

Unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the
my new glasses are ready so I can pick them up as soon as I get downtown (and finally catch up on some reading)

In my life in general:

- School is going great, and I really love it. I shouldn't have a problem getting into grad school.

- I am starting to get along a little better with my family (not great, but better)

- I have two cats who love me despite my mood swings.

- I have been single for over two years and I have learned to be happy by myself.

- I have also learned to live with little money / stuff and I am perfectly happy with what I have.
