I am very excited about the long weekend! My boss just let us know this afternoon that we are closed on Monday as well as Tuesday.
The only other time we get a 4 day weekend without using vacation time is Thanksgiving

I just finished my Spanish final and now I'm on "vacation" until... Monday! (better than nothing!)

But best of all, this weekend is the first weekend of the Jazz festival! So guess where I'm going tomorow afternoon / evening!

Also, I finally got my mp3 player today and it's so neat. It sounds great and it's easy to use. Plus my computer recognizes it no problem (even if the box said you need Windows and my computer runs on Linux)

There's no place like home

I got a signed contract on my old house this morning!!!!!

If all goes well with the inspection, we close on 7/15. That is such a huge burden off my shoulders you cannot believe!!

Absolutely-Lukas thinks they're cats with wings-chases them but hasn't figured out how to fly with them
At times there are so many maonarchs & swallowtails around he can't decide what to do & just sits and stares-then gives me a very preturbed meow & marches to end of porch -ignores the smaller butterflies

Well,

all of the tips you guys gave me on healthier eating habbits have started to work!
I haven't had any type of fast food in 8 days and only had diet pop. ( I went 6 days with out any) and now my scale has shown a loss of 5 lbs. I'm really thrilled and it gives me more determination to keep it up.

I've got good news!

March 10th, I posted in a thread called Kick the Habit about wanting to stop drinking pop. Well, I think I'm on my 4th week of NO pop!

To top that off, I have been really watching our budget and setting goals to cut spending here and there and apply what I save to make extra mortgage payments. I've been tracking our spending since January.

I couldn't get us below spending $200 on eating out a month. Well, last month (June) we only spent $79!!!!! Also, we went from $400 a month in gas to $324!!! I'm so excited.

My bf got back from Copenhagen!

Also, Bobby wanted constant snuggles this morning, and even slept on my stomach, which he almost never does. I felt like a real MomCat.
