It does make you nervous waiting to hear something. I'm just sitting here wondering what is happening. I hope she did'nt have to go to the ER.

Morning all,( well it is in the UK)

Godiva.....How is it going this morning?? Any kitties. Please let us know all is well when you have a min.

Well after a restless night with Boo waking me 3 times. being very vocal and restless all is now calm. She hasnt eaten her breakfast and is still following me around. Other that that nothing. I was so sure we were getting there last night.

Bengalbabe.....How are you doing today? Are you any closer to a result. This is all so exciting. Thanks for the great info to all you more experienced cat mummy's. Its great knowing we can pop back here and recieve some support and info.

Hope all other cat mummy's and their kitties are well this morning. I look forward to hearing some good news.

Okay, so we have two kittens right now. She has three more coming. The first one was VERY tiny, and the second looks to be a lot more developed.. more fur, bigger head, etc...

I did go the ER vet because the water sac broke, and it was breached... and she strained for another good 45 minutes after I posted here. I called and they said she might need some help. The vet said the kittens' heads are huge.
The water broke for the second one, and the techs didn't think to go tell the vet, so the vet was very concerned and came rushing in with oxytocin two hours later. She thought we might have lost the second one, but it is still alive... albeit with purple feet. They got stuck in the birth canal. The vet said the kitten may lose some of the skin off the feet, but that they should eventually be okay.
I know it's no one's fault, but it still makes me a little mad. They were busy and all.

Oh, and they are solids-- buff/beige color, which could be a lilac, buff, or blue... I guess we'll have to wait a few weeks to see how they turn.

Oh im glad everything is working out ok for you right now. It must have been very scary seeing ur kitty in pain and such a worry thinking that something might be wrong.

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you and i will be thinking of you lots. I will pop back to check for updates after I have taken the kids to school and done some shopping.

Take care,

Baby 4 is here: a brown or silver/grey tabby.

Momma bit off the tip of his tail when she tried to bite the cord, though...
I hope he's okay.

Im officially on kitten watch myself. I have one queen who I think is in early labor now and another queen who is due in 5 days. It will be a loooong week!
this lump you mean i think i felt it this morning boots babys were moving like mad and she was all over me wanting stroked then i felt this big long lump down by her end back and her tummy was really hard then it went away shes moved off chair and went to lie on floor now should i keep a eye out on this or just let her be??

I am not sure about Boots... did you say the vet said she had a few weeks yet? If so, I would just chill out for a while. If you aren't too sure of the conception date, then I would start confining her now. Even if she doesn't go soon, she'll be used to her room by then.

......

Sneakers had 6 kittens in all: 4 buff/beige/lilac/blue (can't tell yet)
and 2 blue/silver/brown tabbies

One of the tabbies has a crippled paw and doesn't seem to have the best suckling reflex. He coughs whenever he manages to latch on and actually suckle.
I don't think he'll make it... but maybe he'll get the hang of it soon.

The one with the purple feet still has purple feet (hind legs)... so I don't know how that's gonna end up. Ironically, he's the biggest and the most brutal when he tries to find a nipple.

I'm going to take a nap...

Good luck to the rest of you!

You go take a well earned rest, sounds like you and sneakers both earned it.

Hope the 2 little ones are going to be ok. I will keep them in my thoughts.

I cant wait to see pic's of your babies.
