Chicken feed for litter...

Okay, I know this has been posted a millin times, but I just need to know...

For those of you who use chicken feed for litter, is it really as good as WBCL? I'm using WBCL now, but it's just sooo dang expensive. I love it though and don't want to stop using it. I'm really curious about the chicken feed. Does it clump and control the odor as good as the WBCL? Is there anything about it you don't like?

Thanks in advance!

Chn feed ( layer crumble ) is almost as good as worlds best but I use the chn feed due to it being 1/4 the price ... It works about 85% as good

I've been using chicken feed for over a year now and I think the odor control is as good as WBCL. I think the clumping is more like the Swheat Scoop.

I was just reading a rave review on another thread about Arm & Hammers new High Performance All Natural and considering getting some of that to mix in to see if the clumping will be a little harder.

For the chicken feed I pay $7.50 for a 50lb bag. For that price I can pretty much tolerate softer clumps.
