This past Friday was my last checkup with the surgeon who operated on my leg (drained a huge hematoma that had become infected).

My shin is fine and healed and now I just have to wait for the back to heal(it does hurt less) and start paying off the medical bills.

I forgot to add - THE VAN IS BACK FROM THE BODY SHOP!!!!!

But the guy installed the seat wrong and I can hardly buckle the seat belt.

Oh Jan, so glad to hear all of this my friend

As for the medical bills, I hope you have good insurance. If not, then just make payments.....

So happy to hear everything is going in the right direction! Looking forward to seeing you more on here! and what Susie said, they can't come after you as long as you're making payments

Hey, Jan. I've thought of you often these past weeks. Glad to hear things are getting back to "normal".

That is good news Jan. We're doing a happy dance for you (until your shin is well enough to do the happy dance yourself).

I second that! I was given a stack of pre-addressed envelopes for future payments.

Hi Amie! Thanks for all you did in forwarding cards from TCSers.
I think I might owe you a plate of cheese ravioli!

Keep healing quickly and you'll back to your 'old ways' (
) in no time!

PS is your accupuncturist a looker?!
Sergio (my acupuncturist) is good looking but also married!

What do you mean my "old" ways?
(Oops, almost forgot to take my "senior citizen formulated" vitamin.)
