It is days like today(Fathers Day) when I miss my dad!
He used to love this day when all of us kids would come over and have a cook out and just spend family time together.

I am very sorry for your losses. I lost my Mom 4 years ago, so can empathize. Maybe you can visit your Mom today. I'm sure she is feeling rather blue, too. And be sure you help your kids create happy memories with their Dad!
Boy, I feel horrible about not doing everything I should have on Father's Day. My Dad committed suicide when I was 16, and wanted to be ashes and put in Lake Michigan. (that's where he spent most of his time)
And I usually go out there and throw some flowers in the lake, but I just couldnt this year. I was feeling really crappy yesterday, and just couldnt do it. But I feel bad now.

My dad is buried 3 hrs away, so I dont get to visit the grave site as much as I want.
And that makes me feel terrible!!
