Hi everybody,

Once again I am coming to you all for help...

I am at my wits end. One of our female cats that has been spayed is acting like she is in heat! She is driving one of our male cats crazy as he ( he is neutered) is trying to mate with her. What can I do? The crying and talking back and forth has been going on day and night for 3 days now. Why would two fixed cats act like this? It is driving me crazy!

Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait for a certain amount of time to pass?

Thanks for any help!

I would see the veterinarian. Sometimes during a spay they can miss even the tiniest bit of ovarian tissue and it is enough to produce hormones and all the accompanying problems.

I agree that ovarian remnant syndrome is a strong possibility. Give your vet a call on Monday and schedule an appointment.
