Hi! I'm new to here as of 10 minutes ago
My name is Jasmine. I am currently engaged and live in Indiana. I am the proud momma of 2 kittens. Jade, who is a 5 month old grey tabby and calico mix and Isis, who is a 7 week old calico. (These are my first 2 house kittens ever as my dad was never much of an inside animal type of person.) My girls are very playful and lots of fun. Jade was the runt of her litter and Isis was recently rescued from a bad situation. My camera just broke recently so as soon as I get a replacement camera I will be posting pictures.

Anyways just thought I would say hi. When I saw there were other people who oogle over their cats as much as I do, I decided to join. Glad to be a part of this site!

Welcome Jazmynn to TCS. Jade is now of the age where she should have received her distemper shots, FELV/FIV testing and rabies shot. If she has not seen a vet to receive these shots...now is the time to get her in. Isis will also soon need her first distemper shot. I read your other post about considering allowing these 2 to have a litter of kittens each, but may I recommend that you have them spayed because it will in fact be healthier for them. If you would like to experience a litter of kittens, there are many shelters and rescue groups that could use someone who is willing to foster a pregnant cat through the pregnancy and weaning of the kittens. The best thing about this is that the rescue group will take responsibility to place the kittens into good homes.

I do need to get them in for their shots, but money has been tight here as of late. My fiance just lost his job fper medical reasons. I'm hoping once things pick back up to have Jade completely updated and to have Isis started on everything as well. Thanks for the advice about fostering a pregnant kitty. I'll look into that.

Thank you so much! I will be calling tomorrow to see what I can do. The closest one for me would be in Ft.Wayne. I'm just wondering what kind of financial "proof" they would need. My vet that I go to now isn't so bad on office visits, it's everything else that kills me!
