I used to be able to link to another thread and just use the words "this thread" or whatever. But I cant seem to be able to do that now. There doesnt seem to be an option anymore.
I have the 'insert link' option but it just inserts the link, doesnt let me name it something.
does that make sense?

any suggestions? Maybe I have changed some settings without knowing

Dan, if you type your message, including the text that you want to name the link with (such as "this thread"), and then highlight that bit of text, and only THEN click on the icon that accepts your URL, you should get in your message, that bit of text coded as hypertext, with your link behind it. (I hope that's clear -- it's 12:45 am and I DO need to hit the hay )

Yeah, I don't remember what clued me in, but it was an "aha!" moment, to be sure.
