I have an outdoor cat (hates being inside) and I feed her whiskas right now. I've been reading about how most of the lower priced cat foods are not good. My problem is... I have strays that come over and eat and I can't afford the more expensive stuff for all of them. What should I do.. I like to have food out for her all day as she is more of a nibbler and doesn't eat at set times.... thanks for the suggestions... and yes, she is spayed, has all her vaccines and all that lol.

Is it possible to feed your cat a higher quality food (ie Innova, California Natural, Felidae, etc.) and the strays a lower quality food? I'm sure the strays are just happy enough to get a meal, never mind what it is. Or you could feed both a food called "Chicken Soup For The Cat Lover's Soul." It's a good quality food, but it's fairly cheap. I've actually heard some people say it's even cheaper than some of the low quality foods. Well, good luck! BTW, your kitten is adorable!

where can I find the chicken soup cat food? I've never seen it? I would love to feed them seperate food.. but they often share food out of the same dish, or switch dishes... it's hard to keep them seperate.. they've kinda become friends.

I think you can find the Chicken Soup at almost any pet or feed store. You probably won't find it in the grocery stores though.
