Hope, I think it is beautiful, but I also thought your first one was beautiful.

Welllll, I was a Yankee about a year ago, 6 years in Washington DC. lol All my family is from PA too. 'cept for me! I'm a TEXAN! (really I am impressed though)

LOL

And Laureen, you have me beat! I had NO idea about the Blue topaz! AND YOU KNOW WHERE MABANK IS!!!! You are the FIRST I have found. (I am not kidding) Everyone that isn't from around here says, "Where's that?" And I am talking about Dallas residents! HA! I guess when you are a 7,000 person town, you get lost on the map!

You should come down and have a kitty party!

Oh wow! Just saw this - been working hard all day long, LOL! Thank you SO much. I'll have to put up a better pic of Nadette that I just took about a week ago. She's hard to photograph!

It's been a rough week after loosing my job, so I could use a little validation. *smirk*

SO! Here ya go! I have been trying to teach myself PaintShop Pro 9 the last 2 days, (i have had pleanty of free time) for the express purpose of being able to make signatures! lol AND I did it!!

YAY!

So, here is Polly's completed siggy! It took me FOREVER! 3 hours alone on just the lettering. (it was done by hand with a little help from a Buff Font)

SO, here are two of my loves, Polly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

Yes, it is a real mouse, that is REALLy on her head. lol
That is one amazing siggy! I saw it earlier on the boards, and figured one of the pros had really put some effort into it. Unbelievable that you are new at this. And I love the one of Simba, too, with the green "bengal" background! Great job!

I really must agree with both those statements. Yarra, you just lost your job? Seriously, I think you have a talent there. Any chance of getting your foot in the door somewhere with it? Maybe take some time off and work on a portfolio?

Yes,unfortunatly I was let go by the Pre-school I worked for, (I was the music director) because they couldn't afford me. Enrollment was low and I was the second highest paid staff member, second to the Director, director.
SO, since my job was dispencable, they let me go.

I have been passing the time nicely making siggys though. LOL My bf comes home now and wonders if anything got done except for me learning more about Paintshop. lol

I WISH I could make money doing this! But allas, there isn't a market out there for siggys, and that is really all I know how to do! (and I have only been doing that for 4 days now! How would that go over in an interview when they ask how many years expirience I have! lol)

Thank you all very much for the compliments. It's because of the positive feed back that I keep trying!

Ya'll make such a wonderful no-judging environment here. It makes it very easy to grow and learn and help others! I love this place.

Now i just need to figure out how to get paid to be here all day!

Here is another siggy of Polly. I need to take some pictures of poor Roxie. She needs some of her own siggys!

I am allergic to kitties (Gasp!) so my girls have to get baths once or twice a month. Wet cats are always the most pitiful things. Jordan got out the camera on this occasion and I thought a bath themed siggy would be fun.

This one took me FOREVER. there was a lot of cloning involved and pixle by pixle work. But I think it turned out okay.

What do yall think?

Music! I should have known. It's that right-brain, creative thing! Somewhere I've got a tutorial to make what looks like bathroom tiles with water droplets on them. I'll see if I can find it. That would be perfect for the bath thing.

Of course right NOW you can't get a job, probably, but I would seriously consider checking out some graphic websites and do some practicing. Maybe someday teaching computer graphics could be in your future!

Here's a birthday sig for Petals, Susie.

Thanks a bunch to clixpix/Kelly for resizing it for me
because I don't have photoshop back on my computer yet.
