It really is a quick one. It I get a chance later, I will play around a little more.
Very nice, I put larger sized and more up to date photos in a different photo album though.....but with so many posts am not sure if anyone saw them. But that is really nice looking.Originally Posted by stormy

I feel like I have to respond to these two posts. This idea was started as a fun thing where those of us who love to make sigs can make sigs for those who want them. For the most part, I feel it has worked very well...tons of beautiful sigs have been created, and enjoyed by those who received them.
ButterflyDream, Diane (stormy) has made you a beautiful sig with pictures you have posted, and for quite awhile they were they only pictures you had posted. I think she did a lovely job, and really made the most out of the pictures that were available. It's a beautiful sig. To suggest that she should use the pictures you posted later is insulting to the sig she put so much effort into making for you. It takes time and effort to make sigs, and it was lovely of her to make the one she did for you.
Kittyluvr27, I feel like the same insult was given to Hope (Hopehacker). I know Hope put a great deal of thought, effort, and talent into making the amazing sig she did for you. It is truly a work of art. To post immediately afterward saying you would have preferred a plainer sig seems ungrateful to say the least, especially since you asked for a themed sig to begin with. You should be proud to have the sig she created for you.

I have to agree with clixpix, this started out fun and has worked well for the most part, but ALOT of work goes into these sigs and by putting them down (like clixpix explained so I don't feel the need to repeat it), you are insulting the maker of that signature. While some of us have been doing sigs for a long time, there are a few siggy makers in this thread that only got involved in siggy making from this thread - they are beginners and have come a long way in just a few weeks and others have more expensive software and I don't think it is fair to compare sigs made by people who have a year's experience and $700 software to a beginner with free or cheaper software.
Also, if you post here, we will get to you eventually, but there are alot of requests and we do all have jobs / lives outside TCS - even if we miss your post the first time around we will see others making sigs we have missed and go back to look for it... constant reminders just seem pushy and will probably push you down the list of priorities... the same goes for PMs about sigs, to be honest while I am doing the ones in this thread, I am treating them like my PM requests and I tend not to make 2 sigs for people unless they get a new cat or I have asked for better photos and am doing them roughly in order of requests. If you already have a request in the thread, don't PM, we will see them
And if you want to make us go quicker, we appreciate
- large clear photos where the cat is in focus and the focus of the shot
- a few pics of each cat so we can make them 'fit'
- the size you want it - if you have a line of text tell us so we don't have to change them after
- the names of the cats - saves us the time of searching through your old threads or asking and waiting for a reply

I have to agree with everything said by both clixpix and icklemiss21, and also have to add, if you post in the requests thread, none of the Sig Designers are obligated to make you a sig. Please do not PM one of them begging for a signature after posting your pictures. You will most likely get a few from some of the sig designers, but not necessarily all. Many of the designers work from inspiration, and if they have no ideas for you, or your photos are bad, there is a very good chance that you will be skipped over. I have a few people I have skipped over, but there are others I have made at least five for because they have excellent photos and I have had many ideas for them.
Negative comments will only make it less likely for you to get a signature, and discourage the designer from participating at all.
As I said to someone the other day, if you look at the very first sigs posted, and then scroll through and see the improvements in many of the newer signature designers, it is quite amazing.
