New member!

Hi! I'm a new member on this site. What a great site!

I have 8 cats of my own...seven are black cats and one is a feral orange kitty! I love all cats, but seem to be especially drawn to special needs black cats. I do lots of rescue volunteer work too, and always have a couple foster cats.

I look forward to meeting some people and reading lots of posts!

I actually have seventeen cats. I love each and every one of them. I have four black cats that are very special. Most people won't take a black cat because they believe its bad luck. Right now i have one in my basement that was abandoned by his owners. They moved away and left him. Took me forever to gain his trust. I have him neutered ..rabie shot..and tested for the aids/leukemia virus. Thank goodness the test came back negative. I am trying my hardest to find him a home. My hubby will not let me bring in another one. I really can't blame him...seventeen is quite alot but they were all rescues and what could i do. I also have two dogs ..so its kinda like a zoo around here. I have put this cat in here and on other sites but no one wants him. I hate to have to take him to a shelter..none around me are no kill. Right now as i am typing this he is crying at the basement door wanting to be up here with us. Believe me i have tried as hard as i can to get my hubby to let him up but he is firm this time...he says no way. If you have any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much...Penny

hi welcome i have just taking in a stray black kitten ive named it raven and his the most adorable kitten no bad luck yet, then again im a witch lol
