Welcome to TCS....I hope you now have your girl in a room that is 2 doors away from getting outside. It will be very important that she remain indoors only until she has weaned her kittens and is safely spayed. We would really recommend that this be your cat's only litter and it will be crucial to not allow her back outdoors (even accidentally) because a cat can become pregnant again as early as a week after giving birth.

You should set her up with a nesting box and kitten food and her litterbox in a room which is quiet.

Oh...absolutely!!! Below is a list of low cost clinics for Rhode Island:

RHODE ISLAND

Even if none of these are close to you...I would still call and ask if they know any programs that are closer to you.

Welcome!
Every cat is different. Some stop eating, some don't, some nest, some don't. The one thing they all seem to have in common is that they get so big you don't think they can go on...they do for about another week
She will not move much, except to change position or move to a new place. Right before she will clean her vulva and backside a lot. You may also notice her milk coming in (full boobs
)
My last two momma cats didn't follow any kind of rules, they just had their litters when I least expected it
