One of my cats has a mild case of diarrhea. She does one formed stool and then the second and sometimes third become diarrhea. She is about a year old, eating fine and very playful as usual.
I just got back yesterday from a 4 day trip and the cats stayed home with a sitter. Also, they are accustomed to eating 2/3 of a cup of food a day spread throughout 3 small meals, while I was gone they had about 1 cup a day over 2 meals. I think the extra food and me being gone may have caused Petunia's troubles. Plus she is the little piggy of the family and will often eat what anyone else leaves behind.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on dealing with diarrhea? I'd like to try something before calling the vet, with 5 cats my vet bills are outrageous and I think this is probably not due to illness.
