Has anyone ever heard of this cat food before?

We were looking around at different petstores today, for a large bag of Science Diet Kitten food, when we came across this Spa Select Kitten Food. The price was decent, cheaper than the SD by almost $10. $19.99 for an 8lb bag.

Now, we aren't looking for something cheap, we are looking for something that is an awesome quality and that will help the kittens grow properly, price doens't matter at all, otherwise we wouldn't be buying the Science Diet.

The first 5 ingredients are: Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, Whole Ground Brown Rice, Whole Ground Barley, Oatmeal.

The ingredients are better even than Science Diet. So we bought two bags, and I mixed a bit in for the boogers when we got back to the centre. And they really liked it.

Anybody heard of it?

Yes, I've heard of it. It's made by Blue Buffalo. WAY better than SD.

Interesting.

Maybe we will see if we can do a full swicth then. The only problem is we have to travel out of town to get it.

I'll see what the others say :p

Thanks

Leto- I feed my momma cats and kittens the Kitten food and my adults get the Indoor formula mixed with Royal Canin Neutered Cat. They are crazy for the Spa Select and sometimes pick it out and leave the other. I have the shinest cats around
Every one complements my cats coats.

Sharky- Any clues as to what is better and lower priced. I'm all for the "best for less"

We had a large amount of Blue donated to us several months ago prior to their PetSmart launch and I was pleasantly surprised by it. My oldest guy has really taken a liking to the Mature formula, though no one else will touch it, which suits him just fine. Only about 25% of my cats' diet is dry food, but I don't feed the canned Blue.

Ingredient-wise I feel it's definitely superior to Science Diet.
