I've been to Hever Castle!!! Isn't that the one where Ann Boylen lived???
My fav english garden spot has to be RHS Wisley though Alan Bloom's the Dell Gardens and his son Adrian Bloom's Foog yBottom are pretty good too. I have my picture taken with each of them last time I went.

Lovely! We were there ages ago, and hubby for once didn't complain about "another castle" because he loved the gardens.

Yes it was where Ann Boylen grew up. Our local garden centre arranges day trips, we are going to Great Dixter

What a remarkable castle, as well as the surrounding grounds. The picture out over the water is so lovely, and what pretty flowers. Wonder how long it took to clip all those bushes so perfectly. Thank you for sharing this, it's been a great education!
