Hi

My name is Emma I have a female cat called Mitsy and a male kitten called Ford.

Mitsy is an outdoor cat but Ford prefers the good old indoors lol.Loves his radiator lol.

Thing is I never knew Mitsy was pregnant but my mum and brother in law were here yesterday and when Mitsy came in they were like oh my god she is pregnant.I was never allowed cats growing up as sister was allergic so no nothing about pregancy in cats etc.
It is not until they said this that I realise she is.What do I do now???I am so happy that she is as wee love our cats to bits and they are so so friendly everyone comments as they answer to their names, play games with you and follow us everywhere we go its nice.

Do I start getting Mitsy to stay in now so she has her kittens at home or what???

Please help.

Thanks.xx

Welcome Emma, Mitsy, and Ford

I think it is very important for you to teach Mitsy to become and inside kitty, especially with her being pregnant. It is so much safer for them that way.

I found a link that has some great info posted on making the transition:

I also wanted to give you a link to our Pregnant Cats & Kittens forum. I am sure you will find tons of information here as you continue to care for Mitsy during her pregnancy, and then through the delivery.

If you need any further help as you make your way around the forums, please let me know by clicking on my user name and sending me a private message. I will be happy to help in any way I can.
