do pregnant cats get more "talkative" in the last couple weeks?

Seems the past few days Angel has been more "talkative". it isnt' a heat type of meow (wow those are annoying!) and not all the time. But like last night she was in my room having her canned food dinner and I went up about 45 min to an hour later and she would meow and do a "mrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" type of sound non stop and was all over me kissing me like I had been gone for WEEKS. LOL Normally she isn't like this, I mean she loves attention but doesn't act starved for it even after being somewhere for a bit by herself. Other times she will be sleeping (just around the house) and JUMP up and do the mrrrrrrrrrrrrr type of sound and run over and get a drink or something to eat or just walk around.

Very odd for her. She is normally a very quiet cat unless she is in heat and that is more of a WAILING than these soft little meows and mrrrrrrrrrr's so I KNOW it isn't heat. plus when she is in heat she spays, meows non stop not just a few times a day. And my NEUTERED male is ALL Over her (go figure. LOL) and none of that has been happening.

Just wondering if others cats did this in the last couple weeks........... (she would be around 6 1/2-7 1/2 weeks)

Sneakers has gotten more vocal when she's demanding food, but not otherwise...

You are hyping and worrying youself sick! Take a deep breath... hopefully Sneakers will have hers soon so you can have something else to focus on.

Godiva---- LOL I keep waiting for her to go into heat actually. LOL But this new meowing has thrown me off. everytime she starts it I figure maybe it is "pre-heat" but has been going on for 4 days off and on and NO heat so wouldn't last that long. if anything for pre-heat she is a little more talkative but not "in heat" maybe the night before.

I can't wait for sneakers to have her babies! they are going to be TOO CUTE! she is due in about a week right? woohoooo
