My rule of thumb is that baby kittens can't be fat enough. They need lots of fat when they are little. What chart are you referring to?

Naw, I think they will be fine. Size also depends on the amount of kittens, the more kittens a momma cat has in her stomach the littler they are going to be once they are born-there is only so much room in there!

I think they are fine. Also guess what, my runt is also the smartest-the first one to eat canned food, first one to jump in the litter box, first one to stick her nose in water-that's the closest any of them have gotten to actually drinking that water, LOL!

mine were all about a lb at that age so I wouldn't worry at all. I think its more of a min. weight thats the least the cat should weigh at that age. 6/11 mine all are at1.14 lb to 2.4 lbs. they were born 4/13/14.

I think they are a wonderful weight. Don't forget that the parents' weight figures in, too. My babies were from 5 - 9 ounces at 3 weeks, but they had a small momma. My little runt opened her eyes first too. Or maybe second...

lol don't worry my kittens are over weight themselves at 1 and 1/2 weeks old. The boy is 8.8 OZ and the girl is 8.3 OZ, that is over weight and by the time they are three weeks, they will weigh a pound! This is my 1st litter of "overweight" kittens, my last two litters were 4.8 OZ to 5.6 OZ at two weeks

Oooohhhh, they sound like little loves. Nothing better than a chubby baby or kitten (puppies too). I think I would have to see pictures to determine if they were or weren't

Nah, don't worry... if they're active and normal kittens they'll grow out of their baby fat while driving you up the wall
