Okay I have three cats all three came from totally diff areas. One from a barn one from a rescue and the third just showed up stray.
All cats have proven they can and will kill if they want to.
I have 2 ducks and 4 bantam chickens and my 3 cats all get along GREAT with them. Its like they knew right off the bat that the birds were mine and part of the family.
Im sorry but NONE of my dogs were good like that they would all murder my birds when i am not there.
The cats birds all share the back garden & yard and live in TOTAL peace! Of course we keep the cat food out there also just in case they get hungry LOL
But have you all had good experiences with mixing birds and cats?
Do the cats really know the birds are part of the family? TO bad NONE of my dogs could ever figure that out!
Has anyone had bad experiences in this type of situation?
