Pittsburgh folks-I need to find a home for a Steeler kitty

My best friend has to move from Pittsburgh to VA, and can only take one pet with her. So she's taking her dog, who she's had for 5 years. Sad part is, she also has a very sweet tortishell named "Kitty Kitty" who she adopted a little less than a year ago. She doesn't want to get rid of Kitty, but the only apartment she could find in VA charges outrageous pet rent, so she can only take one pet with her.
I would take the cat if I could, but my fiance has said no more cats until we have a house.
According to my friend, Kitty Kitty is a very sweet cat...calm, cool, and happy. If anyone in the Pittburgh area is interested, let me know ASAP and I will talk to my friend and see what she thinks.

That's so sad! I would think it would be easier to keep a cat in an apartment than a dog?! But that's just my thoughts... I do hope you can find a home for the poor sweet baby... Best of Luck.

She'd love to keep the cat, but she's had the dog for a LOT longer, and that dog is her baby. lol
Also, if anyone in WV might be interested, I might be able to keep Kitty for a short time if someone closer to my area wants her.

Is she spayed and vaccinated and tested and everything? I it declawed? How close to Pittsburgh do they live? And is the cat indoors or outdoors?

I might have a home for KittyKitty!! GailC PM'd me and said she'd talk to her sis who lives in VA.
If that falls through, I will probably post again.
KittyKitty is spayed/had shots, is strictly indoors, and fortunatly is not declawed.
