cat meows all the freggin time!

I was gna put this in behavior forum but since she has kittens i thought it might be because of that.....well my cat meows and meows and I don't know whats wrong!. she has food and water and I pet her and pet her but she won't stop! what does she want!, it gets really annoying...sometimes I pick up one of her babys so it will meow for her and then she will coem and lay down and feed her, and that is the only time she will not meow....either that or when she is alseep....but why is she meowing so much?....does she want to go outside or something?....she use to be outside alot but you people told me to keep her in because she might get pregnant again...i dont know what to do.....

she also knocks everytihng down...her food, water, books, cloths....she can mess up my whole room by herself.....

my cats gone crazy.....right now she seems fine tho...thank goodness

She may very well want out but you CANNOT let her out again until she is spayed. How old are the kittens? You can have ehr spayed when they are around 8 weeks and weaned. Just hold out a bit. When you leave the area she is in, leave soft music playing or even a talk show so she has soothing voices to listen to. But please don't let her back out. She may just be in heat again. That will stop as soon as she is spayed.

I agree, its a good possibility that she's in heat or coming into heat again. You HAVE to be very careful that she does not get outside.

She definately could be back in heat. I know it drives you crazy now...but once she is spayed, she can safely return to going outdoors. Right now, it is too risky as she could become pregnant again.

After Angel gave birth to her kittens. she meowed all the time, she did not act like she was in heat. But I think she wanted me close to her and her babies, because she will always stop meowing when I am at her nesting place. It is a weird thing, I ask my vet about that and she said maybe she is a proud mommy and telling you about it. lol sounds silly but I don't know why our mommies are meowing soooo much!

I swear that's what I was thinking Veruca was doing. It's like she wants me to come see them and sit with her while she nurses. The first couple of days I woud pet her while she nursed and tell her what a good mommy she was. I guess maybe she wants more of the same.

lol yeah Angel loves it when I am there with her, once I leave (sometimes) she will follow me out to whatever room I am heading to.

she has stopped meowing constantly...i wish i knew what she wanted though. oh well, as long as she is fine now.

Then IMO it was her in heat. That certainly explains her getting the in heat crazies then suddenly stopping this behavior.
