OK so I have the cat and the kittens in the closet on an old, old navy pull over fleece and I have some shirts around it to make like a circle. The mom cat keeps put the shirts over on top the of the kittens, is this ok? will they suffacate or is she just trying to keep them warm or something?..

Is your closet drafty? Does she seem like she is very attentive to the kittens?? Does she lay on top of the shirts?

No the closet isnt drafty, they are in the corner with 3 walls around them, then there is a small dresser to make a 4th sorta of a wall, then the cloths that are hanging up are like a ceiling so they are covered from all 4 slides.

um...she lays on top of the dresser right next to them most of the day and when they cry she goes down to them, thats all I really can say about her attentivness.

and yeah she lays on top the of the shirts, the kittens are on like a pile of cloths made into a bed thing and she just sometimes moves a shirt on them.

I would move the shirts and see if she tries to cover them with something else.

If she starts it again I would just fix up a large box and put a pillow in it, that way there is nothig to cover them up with.

Sounds like it's better now. Keep us updated. And good luck with your little lovebugs!!!!
