Hi!My name is Moniece.I have 2 two day old kittens and a four week old with me that I rescued the day the two day olds were born.I am having trouble pulling up rescues in my area to contact however this site came up as being based in Ft.Smith.My computer won't let me click on a link to email,it just says there is no shortcut set up so posting here is the only way I can come up with to contact the rescue.I can not keep the kittens,I only took them because they were rejected by their mom and the lady was not going to feed them but let them die instead. Please help me find someone that can take them.My husband is not happy about the whole thing and it's making things tough around here. The four week old is a female manx and one newborn is a manx,I don't think this one is doing so great, and the other newborn has a tail.My email addy is [email protected]ny and all help would be much appreciated!!Thanks!Moniece

Moniece....you should go to Petfinder:

http://www.petfinder.com

There you can look up rescue groups by state.

This one sounds like a good one. I'm in Bentonville, so let me know if I can help you with anything. I've got a 4 day old litter ony my hands right now, or I would be there in an hour to get yours! Good luck!

I'm in the NE Corner of the state, but I'm very familiar with Fort Smith b/c we do A LOT of business there. If you haven't found someone to take these babies, or at least gotten help PLEASE contact me and we'll see what we can work out. I might be able to pick them up, or meet you somewhere in between. Let me know what I can do to help you!

Please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll do what I can to help!

Hi all,I just wanted to post an update.I did lose the manx newborn yesterday:-(.Also a friends cat had her kittens so she took the other newborn to her house and told me she would feed and care for it if her cat would not accept it but I just got a call about an hour ago from her and she told me that Missy has accepted it so that is WONDERFUL news!!I emailed MaddensMom lastnight and told her about losing the one and the other going to my friends place and told her I do still have the 4wk old female manx and that she could have her if she wanted but that since she was not an emergency like the two were i'd completely understand if she doesn't really have room.I have a cat that sliped out before I could get her in to be fixed so she'll have a litter, her only litter,so if I need to I can always place all of Smegal's when they are ready instead of keeping one and keep this one instead.Anyway I truely can not thank you all enough for being so kind to a newbie to your forum and being so willing to help!!Is there a place here I can post pictures for you all to see?Your new kitty friend,Moniece

Moniece..it's good to know your friend's mom cat has accepted the kitten...but make sure your friend is aware to keep her cat indoors only and away from intact males until all her kittens are weaned and she can be safely spayed. Cats can become pregnant again as early as a week after giving birth and we would certainly like for this to be your friend's cats only litter. If she needs any assistance..there is a forum for pregnant cats and orphaned kittens right on this site.
