I am having trouble regulating the temp in my apt because I want to keep both me and my cat comfortable. It has not been that hot yet, here in Illinois, but it is going to get up into the 90's this weekend and I need help. I have tried to keep the air between 75-78, but sometimes I get hot and want to turn it up, but am worried about her getting too cold. And sometimes, it's vice versa--I don't want her to get too hot when I am getting too cold. How do I know if she is too hot? I saw her go and lie on the kitchen floor (which is lenolium) so I thought that was a sign she was hot. Other times, she will try to get into the closet where it is normally hot, so I figured she is too cold. Help!! I am so worried about her. What is a good temp for cats?

Don't forget kitty has a fur coat!

Siamese don't have the second under-coat of fur so when Bijou feels cool, he goes on our bed, paws at the quilts to pull them down and then crawls in for his nap. I always make the bed in the mornings and when I get home at night I have this little snuggly space he's made.
