Here's a bunch of current residents at the shelter I work at taken this morning.

Panda leaping for a toy

King "faster than the speed of light"

King again "what are you lookin' at?". This guy got brought into the shelter as the neighbourhood bully. He was filthy, he stunk, he was all matted, he was in a trap as they couldn't catch him and very unhappy about it. He was unneutered, and the shelter thought "oh great, big uncontrollable tom cat". Now, he's clean and sparkly, loves being brushed, loves cuddles, looks after all of the kittens like they're his own, and is the sweetest, goofiest cat you've ever seen. He loves to play, and pounces around like he's a kitten which is so funny to watch!

King again. This doesn't quite show how big he is, but he's a massive cat

Earl Grey, a gorgeous 14 year old cat. He's a bit of a fatty, but otherwise in great condition. He had heaps of dandruff when he came in, but all the volunteers have been brushing him lots (which he loves), and his coat is already looking heaps better.

Sheila "come on, break me out, I'll make it worth your while!"

Panda pouncing on Morris. I love Panda's colours - looks like his tail has been dipped in a tin of paint!

Morris, such a cute face - a real handful though!

"Devil cat" Sheila thinking this is a good time to pounce on King... Sheila loves cuddles and purrs in your arms and snuggles into you when you pick her up, but goes psycho at other cats! She hisses and growls at them, and even hisses and growls at toys. She's very confident though, and a real character!

Hope you enjoyed meeting the kids!

They're so cute! That's the cleanest shelter I've ever seen. The ones around here are nothing like that.

Yeah it is very clean. Every day, each cat's cage gets cleaned out with disinfectant, and their bedding, litter, food and water get changed. The entire cat room is swept and mopped with disinfectant every day, and because there's volunteers there all day with the kitties, we all make sure it's kept clean.

It's only a small shelter, we have about 20 kitties at the moment, which is a lot for us, so each cat gets lots of attention each day which is nice. It's a really nice place to work

Awl, I like Panda and King... he does look big!

We almost named my Bandit Panda... her coloring is very much like Panda's.

OH I love Morris and funny since I am not a huge "orange" cat fan (and I have 2. hahahaha) but he is too cute and you can see the spark in his eye.
think that is what draw me to him.

They are all soooooooooo cute though!

Awww, I'm in love...! King is such a handsome boy! It's a shame you live so far away, otherwise I'd scoop him right up! Good luck with finding them homes, They're all gorgeous, I have no doubts that they'll be picked up fast!!
