Just like the last lady, I have a cat that is SO terrified. She will not be picked up...ever. She is lovable...you can pet her but if you move one inch, she will take off. I need to get her to the vet. I tried today but she literally climbed the walls and also bit me. I cannot get ahold of her. I tried using a blanket, playing with her, everything. Any suggestions would be SO appreciated...I have to attempt to take her in again on Saturday!

I'm assuming you take her in a pet carrier, right? Keep it out on the floor with the door open starting tonight. Maybe you could bribe her with treats? Put some in there and see if she goes in to get them? Does she chase after sponge balls? You could roll it into the carrier and see if she follow it in there?...I had a kitty once that absolutey hated going to the vets. He was fine in the car (outside the carrier!) but as soon as we got in the parking lot he knew where he was! They would have to "tank" him with gas (just enough to knock him out) just to examine him! I feel your pain, I really do! Try those couple of things and see if she takes the bate!

Good luck!

when I had an untouchable cat, I left the carrier out for a while first so he was used to it as a bed, and then had to use herding techniques to get him in for his vet visit.

Try putting some soft blankets in the carrires, also her food and water, that should get her use to it, and make it much easier!
