I was teaching special ed-living in an outrageous house in the middle of the woods as a caretaker with 2 Siamese cats & without a care in the world- would go back to that time in a heartbeat- My BIL says he thinks of that as being the happiest time of my life-

I was six, so I was probably in 1st grade, and my sister had just been born so I was getting used to not being the only child
and this was also the year that my family moved to their current house

I was four years old, going to a preschool called The Learning Tree. Oh wow, what memories. I crashed SO MANY TRICYCLES!

My parents got married that year, and I must have only been a twinkle in their eye because I wasn't born until '86.

gee, all of the "I was in first grade" is making me feel old!


In 1984 I was 19 and was working in my first full time job as an secretary/receptionist, which was where I met my husband - we were engaged that December
