Lost my baby brother to a motorbike accident nearly 3 years ago.
Today I just haven't stopped crying.
It just hits me hard somedays after all this time. Mostly I manage to get on with my life putting it to the back of my mind.
Has anyone else suffered a loss and how are you coping?

going to my spa now for a swim and time out in the hot tub and sauna.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss
I can only imagine today is a very hard day for you.

I have lost my Great Grandpa, Grandpa (Dad's Dad), Great Uncle and Great Grandma all in a time span of 4 years - I feel your pain, I miss them all everyday greatly and wish I could have at least 10 minutes with each one of them

My ex was killed about three years ago in a motorcycle accident too. He was 59 years old. Our daughter who was 39 at the time is still devastated. Her life has not been the same. It is always tragic to lose someone, but it is worse when it happens suddenly. Her grandmother, uncle and many other family members on that side had already passed. In fact it seemed to be a family where tragedy was a way of life. As a result, my daughter has reached out more to me and to my husband. She says he is her daddy now.
As tragic as it has been for her, I think it has helped her to appreciate every day of her life and also to appreciate what she still has instead of focusing on what she has lost. Hugs to you. I pray that the Lord will watch over you and draw you closer to him.

I'm really sorry for your loss.

Have you seen a therapist regarding this tragedy? They have some really great methods to help you remember the good times rather than the tragedy (and if not, find another therapist!). If you have health insurance, most cover up to 20 visits per year.

I have also lost my father in March of 03, and it's very very painful to say goodbye to someone you love. But remember, we're only saying goodbye to them in the physical sense. I know it's the hardest one, but they're with you every day, every where you go, in your heart.
