My new kitty, Odo, prefers canned over dry (Willow is the opposite). I had some Precise canned Turkey food from when Spot liked it once, so I've been feeding him that. I know the Precise dry has a lot of corn in it, but what do you all think of the ingredients on the canned? I have a bunch of cans left (I had bought a case and Spot only ate two cans worth before snubbing it), but I'm trying to decide whether to buy more when I run out.

Turkey, Turkey Broth, Chicken Liver, Brown Rice, Oat Bran, Dried Egg Product, Lecithin, Brewers Dried Yeast, Guar Gum, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, Carrageenan, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Sodium Selenite, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Taurine, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Biotin.

Cloud_Shade: To me it's a middle of the road food. If your cat is doing well on it, then by all means stay on it, or you can try to look for a few other formulas to add to his/her rotation every 3+ months.

I think those ingredients sound fine. Precise has a good reputation, but my cats won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Sigh.

He's only been with me since Thursday, so it's too soon to tell whether he's doing well on it. I'm rotating it around with Innova canned and California Natural (Chicken and Brown Rice canned). I'm just trying to decide whether to keep buying it when I near the end of the supply. Which foods do you consider the high end?
