So what is everyone geeting there dad for father's day.
I'm usually stuck on ideas as my dad is 76 and my parents live in a townhouse.
More books, magazine subscriptions????? Mom and dad are coming for the weekend and we are grilling out on father's day but dad is the silent type and is happy with most anything you ge thim (he does not need more clothes!!)
He likes "hard candy" and carmel popcorn perhaps a stop at one of the mom and pop candy shoppes???

My dad is getting a torch from me. Yes I said a torch. That is what he asked me for. My sister is getting him an apron for grilling.

I bought my husband a guitar that he's been wanting for a while. It came yesterday and I knew I couldn't hide it, so I wrote Happy Father's Day on it and let my girls color it (its scribbles--they're 15mos. and 3) but he loved it. My dad just gets a card and a BBQ.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I hate fathers day...my dad & hubby are both SO hard to buy for. My dad has everything... and my hubby doesn't need anything that isn't a fortune... so it's a lose lose situation.

Uhhh.... well, I'm going to try to order one of the pictures me and my brother had done professionally for my mom for Christmas and put it in a nice frame for his office. I'll probly end up also getting him something like tools or something fun like that (he loves getting stuff like that!)

I won't be home til the weekend after Fathers Day, so he'll have to wait for his presents

I have the same problems. He is 76, lives in his own house, but is unable to do his yardwork due to early Alzheimer's/Parkinson's. Prior to that, we used to go the magazine or newspaper subscription route. My father has a thing for Lindt truffles, so I bought a few bags of those. Me mother said he needs shorts, as all of his are too small , probably from the Lindt truffles.

My Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts to my parents is a night out with DH and I. I got tickets for the four of us to Movin' Out, and we'll go to dinner afterwards.

I give DH the same thing for Father's Day every year...but I can't tell you what it is.
We'll just leave it at it's something money can't buy.

Movin' on up!
My Pops is 79 and I always get him a restaurant gift card - he and Mom eat out every day.

My son, Mark, gets either a WalMart or Guitar Center gift card.

Bruce and I haven't been seeing each other, very long and he's just getting a card.
