is this the cats tail!

my cat has just gone into labour but i can see a kittens tail wiggling. is this wrong!

That definitely doesnt sound right. Kittens are supposed to come out head first. Keep an eye on her, because you'll more than likely need to assist if the cat is coming out feet/butt first.

Update...Shes come out of her caesarean now, shes had fire, and all healthy! Mixture of grey, black and white

Sounds good, congrats.

Kittens are born either way and most times its no problem. Its more of a problem if the kitten is too big or head is wide then if it comes out tail first.

Glad kitty is ok after her c-section - btw why did she need one?

Well when we got to the vet they thought a shoulder was stuck maybe so he tried with his hands but no luck, turns out the kittens feet were twisted! will post some pics soon!

SO glad everything went well after that scare. To post pix you have first to upload them to a photosite like Photobucket, then you can paste in the urls. It is not difficult after the first time or two. ANd you can subscribe to Photobucket for free.

Yes..it is good they performed a c-section on her.
