Fairly new Cat Family

Howdy!

I've just joined your forum and am scouring it for information. We've had a 3yo Grey Tabby for about 8 mo, and completely fell in love with her. She was raised with another cat and a small dog from the time she was a kitten, so we decided to get a second cat. After talking to Animal Aid and the Humane Society, we picked a 2 mo old Calico Kitten. OH MY! She is a ball of fire! Very sweet and lovable and just wonderful.

Bubbles the grey tabby spent the first couple of days keeping her distance as much as Leela the calico would allow. There was hissing from Bubbles at first, but by the end of the second day they were rolling on the floor together and licking each other!

Humane Society spayed her last week and then we took her to our vet to have her checked out (Bubbles was already spayed). She got a clean bill of health tho they were surprised the Humane Society would spay her so young, but we were told they always do and that it's better for the Kitten. In any case she's doing great!

We figure she probably about 10 weeks old as of this week..
