I'm not sure where to post this so I hope it is in the right place. My cat had 5kittens April 13th they are all doing wonderful. My question is.... they don't seem to want to be held or sit in your lap to be petted. Is this just their age? They all play wonderfuly with each other and with toys and jump around at me. My hubby keeps saying they don't seem social. So now I am worried I did something wrong. My childern and I have handled them since birth and their friendly they just don't wanna sit and be petted calmly. If it is their age ok or if there is something else I should be doing PLEASE let me know!
Thanks,
Melissa

I think its more a kitten thing most kittens i have seen would rather be off causing trouble then being held usually cats become more social when they get older.

lol Our kittens who are just about 12 weeks old are just now getting to the point where they will allow you to hold them more than five seconds. I wouldn't be to concerned about it unless they are hissing and acting agressive to you.
