Here's Sash and his new little shoe box, he seems to prefer the lid of the box.

All comfy now!

I can't find any pics of Lynx in a box, but here he is in the next best thing, a big sack!

I used to have a picture of him as a kitten in a box for dog food. That was a great picture, wish I still had it.

And a question, you all are such great photographers, how do you get a picture of your cat without the eyes becoming evil green laser beams of death?

Big sacks are just as good as boxes.
As to the "evil green laser beams", a lot of the members suggest trying to get as much natural light as possible. There is also software like photoshop and others that you can use to remove the green color. I have MS Digital Image which is cheaper than photoshop and not as robust. It takes some practice to paint over the color and still leave that little glint that makes the eye look natural. And you need to use the picture with the highest resolution possible then reduce it for posting.

These are great! They've got me laughing out loud!

I have lots of my three in boxes but they're stuck in my dead laptop right now, so I'll see what I already have in photobucket!

Molly is my main box lover!

I agree--natural light seems to help prevent the green/red eye syndrome. I assume it's because the flash doesn't have to be used. Now that I have a digital camera, I usually take a lot of shots of one "image." My husband laughs at me but, if I'm lucky, I may get one really great shot that I don't have to Photoshop and I can always delete the others.

I also use Photoshop (I'm lucky enough to have access through it at my work place). It has a special "red eye" tool (it's actually named that too!) that works great on the eyes. If anyone has any pictures they'd like me to tackle, feel free to send them to me. Since I do use this at work, I obviously can only do so during free moments, so I can't guarantee how soon I can get the pictures back to you.
