I would just like everyone to know that I just walked out of Petsmart UNDER $30.00. This is a major milestone for me.

I will be happy when I can walk out under $100 or without begging for a cute kitten at the adoption centre (hopefully because people start spaying and there aren't any poor little kittens left out there)!

I always spend under $30, but I go there several times a week. The new Petsmart is very close to where I live.

There was sometime when a store went out of business and everything went 50% off. I brought $100 worth of stuff. The next day the store went 75% off. I am still wacking myself on the head for this.

Pet stuff will bankrupt me sooner or later!!!

Me neither. I buy my food online and my litter at a feed store.

One time I went to a tiny, tiny pet shop and realized I had everything they had to offer. That was a scary thought.

I love my tiny tiny pet store, he cares and keeps me a bag of food when he knows I need one even if someone else comes in and asks for it and started stocking WBCL especially for me (although he is glad he did because it sells well). I also find that he has what I want to buy rather than all the useless stuff they have in petsmart
He has the sweetest animals and fosters kitties from the local rescue and has them in the store during the day to meet people and kept one who wasn't adopyed after several months.
He knows the names of my cats and even gave me xmas presents for them, you don't get service like that in PetSmart.

for me, Petsmart is about getting out of there without buying all the cute matching collars, harnesses and leashes in every color, not buying the adorable bed, although I desperately want to, because really she's just gonna sleep with daddy anyway, and not buying the 90 bazillion toys that I know she would just looooove! I went yesterday and only spent $43, I did return an item for $16, so I guess really I spent almost $60. But I get her litter there, Petsmart has a good deal on litter, $10 for a 40lb box. That's not bad. I go through a box a month, or maybe every 5 weeks.

And I was smart this time, I bought 3 of the little crinkly balls she loves so much, and put 2 in a drawer, and only gave her 1. I swear I have a cat toy graveyard somewhere in my house... her favorite toys always end up missing. Maybe this is her real plan to get more toys... hmmmm.

Nice job!
We don't have any petshops I care to frequent here in town, so when the girls need food, I have to make a special trip over to the PetCo in Columbus. Fortunately, the girls like milk jug rings more than they like conventional toys. Saves me a bundle!

Speaking of which, I need to restock my mylar balls. They go through those quickly. I brought six dozen of them this Christmas but apparently they went through them already.

I love it! I have to try every toy at least once. I mean what if the one I did not get was the girls’ favorite. It drives my mom crazy because if they like it I want to by them for your site. I will say that one of there favorites is to play with the plastic bag I brought the cans of food home in.
