Well, my wonderful foster Puff, got adopted this Friday by a lovely couple. I'm sure he will be loved and well cared for. I will miss him dearly, even if he did only stay for a few weeks. Anyway, the rescue I was fostering for called me yesterday and told me they got a female Himalayan in. Since they know I absulotely love Himmies, they knew I would be interested in at least fostering or adopting her. Of course I said I was interested in her, so I went down to take a look at her. Well, well! She is the most gorgeous blue point Him! I just couldn't say no to that face. So I adopted her right then and there. She is just absulotely perfect and will fit in perfectly with my furry family. I already have a female tortie point Himmie, so they will be great friends. Here are a few pictures of her:

Isn't she beautiful?! Now, her name is Satey.
I HATE that name. And I have no name ideas. Help? Anyone got any good name suggestions for this long haired beauty? Thanks!

Oh my she is beautiful! I can see why you adopted her(based on her pics). IMO, A gorgeous girl like her deserves a regal name...like Ophelia, Queenie, Marie, Rose, Sapphire, Opal, Diamond...whatever fits her. That's as much help as I can be. Heck, it took me months to name Ophelia!

Yes. She is just GORGEOUS! She's totally gotta have a beautiful name.

Like Diamond as someone mentioned.
Or Pearl.
Or Sky.
Or Miss.
Or Jasmine. I think she looks like a Jasmine.
Or Crystal.
I like Jade too.
Or maybe Shasha. Yea...Shasha. Well I like 'em all.

Let us know what you decide!!

She's stunning! I just want to pick her up for some serious cuddles.

She must have a fittingly regal name to match her beauty!

She's a beauty!

I like Pearl that someone else mentioned. It's a very sophisticated name and it kinda goes with her pearly coat.

My friend had a cat that looked almost exactly like this one, except her name was Shasta.

I'm really bad at picking out names, but that cat is so beautiful!

Well since the Himalayas are in India.....how about a nice Indian name?

Aishani (Goddess Durga)
Alisha (protected by God)
Anindita (beautiful)
Bala (girl)
Chameli (jasmine)
Charita (good)
Daya (kindness)
Devi (goddess)
Gauhar (a pearl)
Geena (silvery)
Keya (a monsoon flower)
Leena (devoted)
Maya (illusion)
Naiya (water or boat)
Nanda (joyful)
Neela (blue)
Pia (beloved)
Prita (dear one)
Rani (Queen, Princess)
Reva (a star)

Anyway...that's a few. If you like the idea, you can browse more indian names at http://www.babynamesindia.com/

Going with the Anastasia theme...
Tatiana, Maria, Olga, Duchess, Alexis or Alexa (for the boy, Alexei), or Alexandra

She looks like an old time movie star...Greta (Garbo), Marilyn (Monroe), Rita (Hayworth), hmmm...that's all I can think of now.

I like Anastasia too!

The other name I thought of was Juliet/Juliette

She needs a beautiful name for her new life!
