coughing cat

hi
just a quick post to see if anyone could set my mind at rest....i have one 18month old cat who was coughing (as though he wanted to be sick) friday daytime, then stopped saturday but seems be swollowing hard today....hes bright and his usual self and eatting as normal but just dont want to ignore it if its something more serious? anyone have any advice. thanks alot.

Maybe he's trying to bring up a furball? I would just keep an eye on him and see how he does the rest of today and if he keeps doing it maybe the vet should take a look at him.....

call the vet in the AM thell him what's going on and ask for advise - Personally I would bring him in to be looked at - better safe than sorry

thanks for your replies - i have booked an appointment at the vets for him tomorrow morning. as you say - better to be safe than sorry. holl.
