I'm trying to take new pictures of Damita to put on her page. I cannot seem to get past her "blind cat blank stare". In every picture it seems like she is looking right past me. "It's creepy. Like Chukie(the doll from horror movies)." my little sister says. Is there any way for me to take pictures of her & have her not look so blind? Her eyes get that dull look that blind cats have, too, so that doesn't help either.

Is there any way to get rid of the glow the pupil of a cat's eye gets? Chico's pupils turn the same color as the rest of his eye, so it almost looks as though he doesn't have any pupils.

I thought about taking awful pictures of her & Chico so I can keep them forever, but that wouldn't be nice!

The best way is to take photos with no flash during the day when the cat is in direct light, if you do need to use flash, 'bounce' it off the floor or something so you don't take the photo directly of the cat.

I agree, my favourite way to take pictures is in natural light, if you can't do that than I'm sure a profile shot would look great.

I find the best times are in the morning or late evening when the sun is shining in the windows..you can get some great pictures then with wonderful lighting (and if you have that much light it is ok to still use the flash, it will only fill in the darker areas).

It's been cloudy & rainy all day.
I turned the lights on in the office. They are "natural" lights. Don't ask me what they means.
I took some pics of Damita w/o the flash & they turned out pretty good. I will have to wait until the sun returns to take some excellent pics, maybe tomorrow.

Look for a thread in Fur Pictures either tomorrow or Monday to pick out the best pics!
