One of my friends just came back from Mexico and he ate chocolate-covered ants.

I think snails is about as daring as I get. I have tried lots of sushi & sashimi though too.

Well, I actually think blood is very good for anemia

I've tried alligator, (eh, chewy) escargot, (pretty good actually) frog legs, (I took one bite, and while they taste ok, I couldn't get over the fact that they're little cute frogs) sushi and sashimi, (I only like the cooked stuff
)....that's all I can think of for now.

I had turtle when I was in the Cayman islands (couldn't get around it, it's a big time dish down there, but they breed them so it isn't as bad as taking them out of the ocean.) It was actually really good. It was kind of a stew and they put herbs in it and ate it over rice.

And I LOVE sushi!!! MMmmmmm, raw fish....

Nothing too daring...escargot (in Paris as a teenager), calamari (yum), caviar, plus sushi rolled in fish eggs.

Had alligator sausage once. Not bad, but chewy.

I suppose the most exotic thing was something we considered a special delicacy when I was growing up - heart, namely antelope, deer and/or elk heart. (My family never ate beef, we always ate what Dad and Mom hunted.) It is more tender than any other meat you can imagine, and tastes kinda like duck.
