Okay, the little babies are two weeks old today, their eyes are open, and they are starting to try walking.

Twitch is still acting VERY weird. She still seems to be searching the house. Whenever the bathroom door is open ( we have the kittens in the bathroom )
she grabs them, and runs to the door with them, like she wants them to go outside. This is scary to us!!!! She is also still meowing all day. She sleeps at night, and talks quietly to the kittens.

The questions I have are:
When do the babies start eating real food?
When do they start litter training?
At what age do they start walking around?
Will Twitch move them once they start walking around? Will she still be so protective?

I think that is it for now. I will post some pictures soon, of the little fuzz-butts!

Kittens tend to start eating solid food around the 4-6 week timeframe. If you feed mom in the same room as where the kittens are..they will pick up on it quicker.

Same with the litterbox...keep her litterbox in the same room.

She may return them to the nest if she feels they are getting too far away from her or if she thinks they will not be safe.

I'd be VERY careful about Twitch's access right now...especially since she could go back into heat and try to get back outdoors.
