radio question of the day: 06/09/06

Have you ever won anything? If so, what?

One time I called into a radio station and won a movie and some gift certificates...Oh! And just a few weeks ago, I entered our office as office of the day on a radio station and we won that too!! We just won some flowers and t shirts, but its cool to win!

Cool wins!!

I won an entertainment center from a furniture store over the radio, and I won a football pool at my last job! Well, my biggest win though was Jerry's heart! (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)

It seems like I used to always win $$ from the scratch off lottery tickets, but anymore I just cant! Umm lemme think-I remember winning something from a radio station once when I was younger, but cant think of what it was now Too long ago I guess.....

Ha ha, this is the best thing ever (imho): a few years ago my now-hubby, then-bf and I were at an office Christmas party and they were doing a sort of raffle to hang out prizes. They called my name and I won a gift card to the mall, then right when I got back to the table they called HIS name and he won some air hockey table thing. Very cool!

I won the lottery. Actually a gift bag from the lottery. It had a little radio, hat, t-shirt, lotto tickets, tickets to our local baseball team, and a bunch of cups!!


I didn't win Lee's heart... I stole it!

Just kidding, it's sweet...

Yes, my husband and I went to a garage sale at a local animal clinic....because all of the proceeds went to the hospital to help with the sick animals....


well we entered a raffle and paid like 5 or 10 dollars for a ticket...well they called us and we won!!

It was a basket with cat goodies in it...it was probably worth 100 dollars...and my cats had so much fun playing with everything and eating everything that was in the basket.



*******oh yeah and I almost forgot********

on our honeymoon cruise we won quite a few things:

1. we won like 5 bottles of champagne....from a drawing (5 different times..we were lucky)

2. we also went to the casino on the ship and won like 500 dollars in a 20 dollar slot!!

We were having a great time!!!

I don't ever win anything.... I really should be unLuckyGirl!

I found my kitty....that was pretty lucky. She has made my heart overflow with joy and love during what could have been a difficult time for me!

I won a fruit basket once...and a giant stuffed panda bear!

The Carnival Conquest....which use to go out of new orleans and now goes out of galveston

*****we had soo much fun and I also got to participate in a comedy show...the comedian asked who were newlyweds and my husband and I jumped up...so they asked me to get on stage (which was in front of the whole ship of 2000 people)...he then used me in his show....it was soo much fun

Cool... we were trying to find something to do next year and we were thinking about a cruise, might have to look into yours!

If you have never done a cruise before....it is worth it!! Our honeymoon was our first cruise and we went on a 7 day cruise...we loved it and we plan on going on a cruise with in this next year

About 2 years ago I received a Fed Ex letter notifying me that I had won a 'Heavenly Bed' from Starwood hotels. I honestly didn't ever remember signing up for this, but then again at that time I was travelling for work a lot and had stayed at various hotels. I was skeptical at first, but then called them and was told I had to have the letter notorized and sent back to them. The prize included a queen bed, box spring, and the full set of bedding (duvets, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc). Problem was, I had just bought a new bed (although not the full bedding), so I had no need for the prize. I did ask if I could get credit for use at their hotels or stores and was told no. So I gave it to my sister-- who'se had the same bed for over 18 years! She was very happy with my Prize and I was happy to be able to help her out

I won a contest at work last year! I had to go though the whole company website (my company is part or a larger one that has lots of little ones in it) and find info. I won the 1st prize, which was a $50 gift certificate to Outback! (the restaurant) We ate good that night!

About a month ago I won a free lunch for two at Red Robin.

My husband, son and I put our business card in one of those fish bowls and I won!

- Several free restaurant dinners
- Flat screen computer monitor
- Gym bag
- Bottle of wine & corkscrew
- Dinnerware set
- $1,000 cash
- Bicycle

And some other stuff I can't remember right now, I enter 50 or so contests a day and so far I've been very lucky

I breed and show Persian and Exotic cats - and they've won stuff.

From money, catfood, dinner sets, toys, plants, dust buster.

Can't think of anything else but I won a prize at my formal last year for the coolest top?
