I process medical claims and I am on the computer all day at work...so like babyharley said I keep my window open and check it throughout the day.

I do the accounting and payroll for a couple of small businesses so am always at my computer
I am a general clerk but do the accounting part for my office so I am also at my computer all day.
Receptionist/Admin Assistant/Marketing Coordinator for a small engineering firm. I'm basically at my desk all day, every day, so it's open and I check in when I have time to spare. Sometimes that's all day long, and sometimes that just when I'm printing something big and waiting for it.
I'm an office assistant and how many times I log on during the day at work also depends on how busy we are.
In the winter I could be on most of the day, but this time of the year we are quite busy. Last week I hardly had time to check in once or twice a day (and no time to reply to posts). I'm happy though if I can check in 3-4 times.

I sit on my ars too! I am actually chained to my desk!
I'm an exec asst for an architectural/engineering/interior design firm. And I have mastered looking busy... I could be extremely busy typing up my reply to the daily thread, and someone comes to my desk, I even give them the annoyed "can't you see I'm extremely busy?!" look

Well the past few weeks I have been so busy and have only been able to check on TCS a couple of times a day - normally at lunchtime at school!

I do that all the time, a co worker called me today and I told her to call back I was busy catching up on forums and drinking my tea in peace
The TCS window is ALWAYS open at work.
Since I"m an Electrical Engineer, I work a lot with wiring schematics and you can only stare at ton's and ton's of little freakin lines for so long before you lose it! TCS is my sanity check. I swap windows, take a little breather, relax, then back to work. Only problem is the company is a military company so if I try to go to "fur pictures" all I see are those damn red X

I actually got in trouble about a week ago at work for being on here
They were saying "excessive non-work related web-surfing"
I was like "Only when I have a min to myself!"

Although, I have to admit, being out on hold for a while is a good excuse to check out TCS because, you know, you can't do much else while on hold

You guys are soooo lucky!!!!! I don't have a clerical job so I can't be here while I'm at work. We actually have to work at all times, and if anyone who has access to a computer was caught on a site like this, they would be fired immediately!!!! So like I said, you guys are sooooo lucky!!!!!
I'm 'not allowed' but I do pop in on lunch or break time occasionally!
