Where in the world are you and whats planned for your weekend?

A bit of a getting to know you thread.
I am living in a little market town in Oxfordshire Uk on the edge of the cotswolds. Its a very pretty place full of cotwold stone buildings. we have a traditional church green and a lovely way to see the town is a walk past the chuch by the green into town which is set on a hill.
Imagine lots of flower baskets this time of year and all the shops have quaint store fronts. our parking lot is well behind all this area with walk throughs to the shops.

This weekend we have lovely sunny weather and plan to go to bournton on the water to take my daughter to a perfume maker who has a tour of how they do it. she is at the age of trying to make her own so I thought she might enjoy this. we will also have a little wander round buy and icecream. sit by the river.

I'm from Newcastle upon tyne (UK). At the moment i live across the water at a place called Hebburn and i've been there for 3 years, but i'm planning on moving back "home" next year

This weekend my old neighbours are coming home for a visit with their new baby Lauren so were having a bbq because the weathers going to be gorgeous!

I'm in Manchester (NWUK) and have lived here for five years since moving here for Uni (graduated lat year )

I'm originally from the Wirral which is over the Mersey from Liverpool!

I don't really have any plans for the weekend yet, just going to play it by ear! I'll probably do some gardening as I've found some spaces that need filling and I'm certainly not going to waste the glorious weather!

I might even pop to a National Trust to do some photography and have a picnic!

I live in Calera, Alabama which is a suburd of Birmingham.


This is going to be a busy weekend (like always)....tonight we are going to the drive in to watch Cars and The wild (double feature)...then tomorrow night our friends are coming over to our house and spending the night.....then on sunday we are doing the all you can bowl from 9pm-12am......so I have my work cut out for me

This is my birthday weekend, and someone just spilled the beans that my partner is throwing me a big "surprise" party on Saturday night. I should have suspected, because he does this every year...

Hi I'm Gail and I live fairly close to Green Bay Wisconsin in a rural farming area.
I took today off (self employed) to rest up my body from my job. Right now is sunny a bit cooler which is ok. I'm doing some laundry, will attend to some much needed gardening in my yard and shopping later today!!
Tomorrow a hosta plant sale then attending a wedding and work in my yard on Sunday!!

YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!! I love newcastle beer! I don't know what I would do if I lived there...probably be on my second liver by now!

Anyhoo, I live in a suburb outside of Detroit, MI. I love this town versus the other suburbs as they always have weekend events going on and a Farmers Market that I can walk to (We live close enough to walk to downtown which has a lot of neat stores). Plus we're only 15 minutes away from Detroit so if we want to head down to one of the events, it's only a short distance (i.e. Tigers games, Lions, RED WINGS).

This weekend, actually this afternoon I'm flying down to DC to see my friend. She's been up here several times (family is still here), but this will be my first chance seeing her in her new place!
I'm excited!!! Plus I REALLY REALLY need a vacation.

It is just a normal ciry of about 300000 people, and not much exciting goes on here. It is a big medical and university city. I have heard that we have some of the best hospitals here in Ontario...So, not overly exciting, but it does the trick.

I went to school there, and my friends and family are mostly there. I miss Ottawa alot.

This weekend, I'm going to visit my sister and nieces, and maybe catch a movie..Not sure yet, no concrete plans really.

I live in Salem, Massachusetts (Yes, the Witch City) and this weekend I'll be jumping on my Harley and roaring off North to Laconia, New Hampshire for the 83rd Annual Motorcycle Week! Generally about 350,000 motorcyclists roll into town for a week-long celebration of everything motorcycle.

My poor little kitty will be left at home with my roomie - I'll be away next week for three nights camping at bike week, and this will be the longest time I've been away from her since I brought her home as an 8 week old.

I just hope she isn't TOO upset with me!!

It's a hip artsy up-scale little section with adorable privately owned shops/boutiques. I'm Susanne and I live in Manchester, England (same as Sar. Only a couple of miles away in fact!). I don't have any specific plans for this weekend except watching the world cup I'll also be spending tomorrow morning at home to make sure my little furbabe Mosi is ok as he's currently at the vet being neutered!
