I'm not sure if this will help but, here in Tennessee we have a place called ValueVet...great vet care very affordable...not sure if they are a chain but, maybe you have something like that near you...check your yellow pages...and good luck!

Toopsy, I have family in Toronto and Collingwood, are you anywhere near either town? I could have them check around too.

No, i'm in belleville, and what is making it worse no car....she must have an infection because she was bleeding a bit again today and no kittens. I am still trying to get something worked out. I left a message at the one place that might give me something to go on, but they didn't get a call back....which surprised me because this doesn't sound too good.

Good to hear that you have an organization that is willing to help you.

Whoo Hoo....i just got home from the vet and they gave her an antibotic shot and gave me some pills. She's gonna get better. In a week I take her back and get a shot for worms. Thanks for all the help everyone.

Toopsy, I'm in Toronto and also Kitchener-Waterloo... I have no idea where in Ontario you are, but if I can help you find a vet in the future, let me know.

They didn't say if she ever was pregnant or not....I just knew something was wrong and when I heard antibiotics I was happy enough with that. I live in Belleville, and thank you for the offer. Hopefully she will be set for the future. She has been on a list to get spayed for about 8 mths and hopefully that will come through soon. Currently she is purring away and seems much happier.....of course i'm not sure the meds could have kicked in so fast, but a definate happy ending.
