Sounds like my hubby, who went from not being fond of cats to be an avid cat lover just like me! All because of my dear sweet little Cody. I had a neighbor give her to me a when I lived on the base at Andrews. She ended up getting a tooth abscess which we took care of but they didn't realize it had someone gotten into the bone, until she had a seizure and a sudden death. Never had another cat like her...but we still love the kitties we have.
My hubby realized how devestated I was when Chester was stolen and told me I would never have to ask him to get another cat. Then all the sudden I went on a cat binge and got five cats.
He was pretty freaked out by "how the heck are we ever gonna afford them?" Well, after we spent a thousand bucks he loves them like his children.
I wouldn't call my hubby "cat hating". He was pretty apprehensive of me having five cats, though. However, last week I asked him if he would ever consider rescuing another black kitty and he said "You do whatever you need to do."
He was pretty freaked out by "how the heck are we ever gonna afford them?" Well, after we spent a thousand bucks he loves them like his children.
