New TV show - like the Bachelor

Has anyone watched any of the new show on Fox "Looking for Love: Bachelorettes in Alaska"? I caught I think the second episode last night. It is interesting - check out the link. Bachelorettes It is another reality show I can fill my summer with.

I have to laugh, there are more men in alaska then women! That's why the magazine AlaskaMen was started, to recruit more women into the state. Should be an interesting show- thansk for the head's up!

Best thing about the show is the beautiful scenery they are showing. One woman - Rebeka, is a real flirt and she seems to be out for money not a man. Another one (I think Sissie) seems to honestly want to find her true love. The show has some interesting twists to it.

That looks like a very interesting show. I checked out the website. What day is it on? Are they also competing for money as well as finding a husband?

It is Sunday's at 9. They are competing for money for a "dowry". The more men that plead with you to keep them as your "man on ice" the more money you get. For example that Rebeka flirt had 3 men ask her to keep them an extra week instead of sending them off the show. 3 men at $2000 a pop and she gained 6000 in one evening. If the woman is the 1st one picked for a date by the new guy who wins the weekly competition, then she get another 2000. Rebekah has alread about $17000. I think the show started them out at $5000 automatically.
