Hiya, for the last coupe of days simba has been sneezing and has runny eyes, today one of his eyes seems to be more closed than the other.
He has been eating and looks to have been drinking alot as it is hot here,so im glad about that. But other than that he generally seems off in his self....hubby reckons its just a cold and not to take him to the vet what do you think he is 10 month old now.

A URI? Penelope has been sneezy and has had runny eyes recently but I thought it was just allergies because I'm having the same problem too. Maybe I should schedule a vet appointment too. What do you think?

Yes I agree, A vet visit would be in your best interest(s), URI's can become very serious, your poor babes probly isn't feelin so hot...

Please BOTH of you let us know what the vet says...

Best of luck,

URI=Upper Respritory Infection, it's serious and has taken many cats a kittens from me, please take them to the vet, both of you. The vet will give you some antibiotics and maybe eye ointment.

Please get them there ASAP, URI's take cats very quickly most of the time.

Bengal and Snow: Take your cats to the vet! Our baby Turkey caught an Upper Respiratory Infection 2 weeks ago when he got neutered and we didn't know and now ALL of our cats have it! The symptoms are sneezing, runny nose, runny eyes and loss of appetite! They are all on antibiotics and we are hoping everyone pulls through! We even have some baby kittens that we are praying do not get it(so far they haven't so our fingers are crossed) But please take them to the vet,and let us know what happened!
